Family cycling event

The Grove School

Join Camcycle and a range of family cycling experts, children’s cycles, cargo cycles and equipment for carrying children for a new event to share knowledge and experiences of family cycling.

The event will include talks, an opportunity for questions and lots of chances for testing of cycles and kit. We thrilled to have two guest family cycling champions on our panel which also includes family cycling experts from across Cambridge. Ruth-Anna Macqueen, London Cycling Campaigner of the Year 2017, is passionate about opening people’s eyes to the possibilities of family cycling and has been involved in many family cycling initiatives from setting up and running the Hackney Family Cycling Library and Kidical Mass rides to creating online resources (Family Cycling UK and the Hop Onboard Project). The Jones family, otherwise known as FamilyByCycle are cycling adventurers keen to encourage other families to experience the joy of cycling. They have recently completed a summer holiday ride from Land’s End to John o’Groats which resulted in two of the family ending up with world records!
