Camcycle and CTC Cambridge – Hought’n Back: 32-mile ride to Houghton Mill

Cambridge North Station

Join Camcycle and CTC Cambridge for a leisurely ride along the busway cycle path to Houghton Mill and back.

Discover the delightful riverside paths beyond the busway to the cafe at Houghton Mill, visit the historic market town of St Ives and explore the Thicket path.

The ride leaves promptly at 10am from the front of Cambridge North station, stopping at 1pm for lunch at Houghton Mill.

This CTC-Cambridge-led ride is suitable for confident city cyclists and will take a leisurely pace on a mix of surfaced cycle paths and quiet roads, totalling around 32 miles. We expect to be travelling at about 10-12 miles per hour. This ride is suitable for all types of cycles – there are no off-road sections and no lifting required.  There is one short ‘no-cycling’ section where we have to walk and push to cross the bridge at Houghton Lock. This ride is not suitable for unaccompanied minors under 18 years of age.

Places are strictly limited. To join us, book your place online.

For any queries about the ride, please contact CTC Cambridge at secretary@ctccambridge.org.uk.
