Join Camcycle and Cambridge CTC on the Byways and Highways ride for a leisurely circuit around Cambridge.
Get cycling and discover the secret paths and connections in the city on a ride around Cambridge to the beautiful Anglesey Abbey, exploring parts of the city and some peaceful villages and rural areas right outside it.
The ride leaves promptly at 10.30am from Madingley Park and Ride (meet outside the main building in the centre of the site, but please keep clear of the bus stops), stopping at 1pm for lunch at Anglesey Abbey. We will return to the Park and Ride at around 3.30pm.
This CTC-Cambridge led ride is suitable for confident city cyclists and will take a leisurely pace on a mix of unsurfaced off-road paths, narrow cycle paths and rural roads, totalling around 35 miles. We expect to be travelling at about 10-12 miles per hour. This ride is not suitable for unaccompanied minors under 18 years of age.
